Samantha Shepherd, LICSW
Hi there! My name is Sam. I love to help folks find their way in the world, cope with life changes, and connect with their own wisdom.
I believe that real healing happens when you feel safe enough to show up as your full self. As someone with ADHD, I understand the challenges and strengths that can come with a neurodivergent brain and love creating space for folks to feel seen and heard.
I have a background in both social work and holistic health, bringing an integrative approach to psychotherapy sessions. My work is grounded in the understanding that our emotional, physical, social, and spiritual experiences are deeply connected.
I believe that we are all meant for connection and yet often we have experiences that rewire us for protection. I hope to provide space for folks to build trust again, both with others and themselves while reconnecting with their own inner "magic".
I especially enjoy working with other folks in the LGBTQ+ community, as well as anyone that would like help coping with anxiety, trauma, and/or grief. I have worked with folks across the lifespan, however currently only work with adults.
I believe everyone deserves support through this thing called life.
